Peanut Butter Simple Syrup

Next time you make a cake, muffins, cookies, sweet bread, or any dessert really, brush the top with a bit of peanut butter simple syrup. It's really tasty poured over ice cream as well!

Ingredients
  • 1 C of sugar
  • 1 C of water
  • ¾ C of peanut butter (creamy)
Directions
  1. Add the sugar and water to a medium-sized pan over medium heat.
  2. Stir occasionally or until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Once dissolved, add in the peanut butter, then stir until combined.
  4. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring every so often. Keep an eye on it, as it has the potential to bubble over. The whole process should take about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the pan, and store in a tightly sealed container or jar. No need to refrigerate the syrup!
