Grasshopper Pie

A fluffy and minty frozen pie with an Oreo cookie crust. It's easy to prepare, and has a festive green color!

Ingredients
  • 25 Oreo cookies
  • ½ C of butter (melted)
  • 2 C of marshmallow creme
  • ¼ C of creme de menthe liquer
  • 2 C of whipping cream
Directions
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies, but set aside 1/4 cup of the cookie crumbs for later.
  2. Place the cookie crumbs in a medium bowl, and mix in the melted butter.
  3. Press the cookie mixture firmly into bottom and sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whip together the marshmallow creme and creme de menthe until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a pan and sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs on top.
  7. Freeze at least 2 hours until firm.
  8. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving for slightly softening the pie.
