Chocolate Buttercreme Frosting

A sweet and creamy chocolate buttercreme frosting that's quick and simple to make.

Ingredients
  • 6 Tbsp of softened butter
  • 2 ⅓ C of powdered sugar
  • ¾ C of cocoa powder
  • ⅓ C of milk
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp of salt
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, cream the butter and salt for one minute with a hand mixer until smooth.
  2. Slowly(!!) add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder to the bowl, without using the hand mixer at first, otherwise it'll fly all over the place. Once incorporated enough, you can use the hand-mixer.
  3. Start adding the milk and vanilla extract to the bowl, and again, slowly(!!) combine at first. Once it's incorporated enough, you can use the hand-mixer, and thoroughly mix for a couple minutes until the frosting is completely smooth.
